Not available on this device

Font Browser requires the queryLocalFonts() API, only available on Chrome 103+ or Edge 103+ on desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Come back from your computer — it's worth it.

On first launch, your browser will ask permission to access your local fonts — a one-time prompt, remembered forever. No account, no upload, no tracking.

Frequently asked questions

Are my fonts uploaded to a server?

No. Font Browser runs entirely in your browser using the local queryLocalFonts() API. Your font list is never sent, stored, or seen by any server — the server only delivers this page.

How do I see all the fonts installed on my computer?

Open Font Browser in Chrome or Edge on desktop and grant the one-time local fonts permission. Every font installed on your Windows, macOS or Linux machine appears instantly, with live previews and fuzzy search.

Why does Font Browser only work on Chrome and Edge?

Font Browser relies on the queryLocalFonts() API, which is currently implemented only in Chromium-based desktop browsers (Chrome 103+ and Edge 103+). Firefox and Safari do not support it yet.

Is Font Browser free?

Yes, Font Browser is completely free, with no account, no upload and no tracking. If you find it useful, you can support the project on Ko-fi.

Will my shortlist and pairings be saved?

Yes. Your shortlist persists between sessions, stored locally in your browser — nothing leaves your machine. Clear your browser data and it resets.
